The impressive 400-ton stabilized crane onboard the equally impressive Hydra vessel from Seajacks required maintenance and inspection. Sky People inspected the bolt torques on the crane boom — an impressive 73 meters long — using rope access techniques.
After thorough inspection, reporting, and approval, the crane was fully ready for operation again.
To reach the difficult locations of the flange bolts, our technicians employed eight-climb techniques, allowing safe horizontal movement while suspended.
